Overview

If a PDF file has structural issues that could potentially affect its functionality within Smartbox the system will flag it to highlight where problems may arise and remedial action may be required. As these issues will not always result in unexpected behaviour, they are recorded in the Warning Report rather than the Error Report.

Accessing the Warning Report

The Warning Report is generated on a box by box basis and located alongside the other available reports. To access it:

1. Open a box and navigate to Report.

2. Click on the Warnings tab to open the report.

3. A list of PDF files with warning messages will be displayed.

Using the Warning Report

The Warning Report contains the following information for each PDF:

• File name
• File location
• PDF warning message
• Tag applied
• User a file was deleted by

To delete files from the report:

• Select the file(s) you wish to delete using the checkboxes on the left-hand side
• Click the delete icon
• Press 'Delete' to confirm

To tag files in the report:

• Select the file(s) you wish to tag using the checkboxes on the left-hand side
• Click the tag icon
• Select the tag you wish to apply
• Press 'Update' to confirm

To view a file from the report:

• Double-click on a file to be open it in Smartview.
