Import from Microsoft Exchange

Posted 11 months ago by Harrison Gowers

Please note:

  • The Microsoft Graph API supports accessing data in users' primary mailboxes and in shared mailboxes. The data can be calendar, mail, or personal contacts stored in a mailbox in the cloud on Exchange Online as part of Microsoft 365, or on Exchange on-premises in a hybrid deployment.
  • The API does not support accessing in-place archive mailboxes, not on Exchange Online nor on Exchange Server.
  • You can access only the signed-in user’s own mailbox. Searching delegated mailboxes is not supported.

Instructions

Step 1: Open the import window

  • From within a box, click the Connector icon in the toolbar
  • This will open the Data search window

Step 2: Select a Connector

  • Select an active connector from the drop-down list

Step 3: Enter a search query

  • Select the date range required for your search
  • Enter the search terms you wish to query
    • Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to add or remove additional search terms
  • Hit 'Search' to perform your query

Step 4: Confirm your import

  • After performing your search, the next window will display the number of results matching your query.
  • Either click 'Back' to return to the previous screen and refine your query, or 'Import' to confirm the data.
  • A progress bar will appear in the bottom right corner to indicate the progress of the import.
