Files may fail to process for a number of reasons. Any file that cannot be processed for any reason will be marked with an exclamation mark (!) and listed in the box's Error Report.
Below is a list of the various error messages that will accompany any files that fail to process and the recommended action to take.
| Error message | Cause | Recommended action |
| Failed to convert | The file failed all conversion attempts and retries | Reprocess |
| Unsupported file | The filetype is not supported | Delete if not required |
| Unsupported spreadsheet | Spreadsheets >10 pages are not supported | Download original, extract relevant data and re-upload |
| Does not exist | The file content or extension does not exist | Locate original file and take remedial action |
| Password protected | The file is encrypted with a password | Download original, enter password, remove encryption and re-upload |
