Customising email templates

The emails that are sent out as notifications to the data subject in the Request Tracker can be customised to better reflect your organisation's process and brand. Email templates can be found in the Request Tracker settings.


N.B. email templates can only be accessed by Admin users.



To access and customise email templates: 


1. In the application drop-down, choose Request Tracker and click Settings. This will take you to the email template page.



2. The left-hand navigation displays each of the stages that make up the Request Tracker workflow. From within each of these stages are a number of options (e.g. 'Accept' or 'Reject') that can be chosen from the navigation above the email customisation options. These options represent the various different responses that may be required at each of the stages in the process.



3. Once you have selected the stage and response, you can choose and edit: the email Subject line, Sender email, Sender name, and the email text.



4. Click 'Discard Changes' to remove any amendments you have made, click Modify to save your changes to a template, and click Default Template to reset the template to its default state.
