TABLE OF CONTENTS
Overview
The web form step is used to request data from someone, such as for ID verification or additional information. It consists of three elements:
(1) Web form email
The web form email contains a link to a secure web page where the recipient can submit the required data for a ticket. The link is auto-generated by the webform variable needed for the template's creation.
Within a ticket, the web form email functions similarly to the email step, with added tracking for the visit and completion of the web form.
1. Email template 2. Email editor | 3. Send email 4. Email (and web form) tracker |
(2) Web form (submission)
When the recipient clicks the link in the web form email, they are directed to the web form page. The form is displayed according to the selected template but can be customized to capture any required information, including file uploads or written form fields.
Once all requested data (including mandatory fields) is submitted, the web page will automatically close, and the link will no longer be accessible.
(3) Web form (review)
After submission, the response can be reviewed within the ticket. Any uploaded images, such as copies of ID can be opened and viewed.
If the form requires further information or re-doing, the step can be repeated by returning to the email web form and sending again.
How to use
1. Open the ticket. 2. Review the content of the web form email template and ensure all variables are correctly updated.

4. Once the form has been visited and completed, return to the ticket to review the response. 5. Review the submission and either click “Complete” to advance to the next stage or, if necessary, repeat this step by returning to the email section. |
